Crafting spaces for social, environmental, and cultural transformation.

AuraCity is a visionary urban design project for 3,000 people, developed as part of the Auravana initiative to create a community-type society through a series of social specification standards. It is a circular city concept that reimagines human settlements through sustainable infrastructure, resource efficiency, and social integration. Although it does not yet have a designated location for implementation, the project embodies principles of regenerative urbanism, aiming to serve as a prototype for future self-sustaining communities.

This project is dedicated to the Krahô people in Tocantins, northern Brazil, and aims to establish a university that integrates indigenous wisdom with contemporary education. The Indigenous University is designed to be a space of knowledge exchange, fostering cultural preservation, environmental stewardship, and community empowerment. Through participatory design and bioconstruction techniques, we are developing a learning environment that reflects the identity and values of the Krahô people.

Located deep in the Amazon rainforest, Olho D’Água is a healing center for Huni Kuin women. This sacred space is being developed as a place for traditional medicine, spiritual renewal, and cultural strengthening. The project combines indigenous architectural principles with ecological design, creating a refuge that supports the well-being of the Huni Kuin community while protecting the surrounding rainforest. At Community Habitats Studio, we believe that architecture is a powerful catalyst for change. By designing spaces that respect nature and empower communities, we are working towards a future where human settlements are regenerative, inclusive, and deeply connected to the land.
